Venture Crew 357, sponsored by Catawba Lodge 56 for several years now, enjoyed a ski trip to Winterplace Ski Resort in West Virginia this weekend.
On Saturday, January 20th, when they hit the slopes, it was 7 degrees outside. Thankfully, the temperature quickly rose to 11 degrees for the high for the day.
Everyone had a great time and appreciates the sponsorship of Catawba Lodge and opportunities to assist the lodge with their fund raisers throughout the year.

Bro. Larry Spinks celebrated 50-Years of service to masonary in general and Catawba Lodge specifically this past December 2023.
It was a special night during the March 2024 regular communication to have have RWB Mike Rowe Sr., District Deputy Grand Master, in attendance to present this awesome accomplishment to Bro. Spinks.
Catawba Lodge is blessed to have several long time members on our membership rolls.

The tickets are $20 each and are available for purchase by contacting a lodge member or at any upcoming degree work or at the October regular communication.

We look forward to seeing you and your significant other at this year's banquet.

We were excited to receive a donation of over 40 bales of pine straw from an unknown benefactor this month. We had planned to purchase these, but they mysteriously were delivered to the lodge recently.
The Building and Grounds Committee have placed the pine straw around out bushes and flower beds and they really dress up the exterior of the lodge.
THANK YOU to our pine straw benefactor!

The lodge community room was beautifully decorated for the large group of brothers and their families that were able to attend.
Each lady received a rose upon arrival.
